You don't need a photographer who's going to slow everything down and pose you in front of something pretty - that’s easy. You need someone who's going to be right there when it's happening - and catch it before it's gone. Someone who feels like a friend, but that you can trust not to get drunk and forget to take photos.
That's what I do.
I’m not here to direct your day. I’m here to document it.
I work documentary-style, which means I follow the feeling, not a shot list. I’m the photographer in the corner catching the moment your partner’s face changed when they saw you. The one who noticed your mum grab your hand without saying a word. The one who stayed until the light got good.
